APRIL 26 - 28, 2024

As the longest-running home tour in Atlanta, the Historic Druid Hills Home & Garden Tour has showcased many stunning homes over the years. Brought to you by the Druid Hills Civic Association and organized by an army of volunteers, it is the one Atlanta home tour you don't want to miss!

2023 TOUR HIGHLIGHTS

Tour-goers repeatedly told us how much they enjoyed exploring such a variety of home styles and greenspaces that were featured in 2023. They visited homes like 1755 Ridgewood, a beautiful craftsman cottage with clinker brick and Tudor accents, set in a bucolic one-acre wooded garden with a creek running through it. They explored a magnificent Walter T. Downing estate home on a grand nearly 2-acre estate lot, with a spectacular garden in the back at 883 Oakdale. The three unique houses on Harvard Road did not disappoint: the "Castle House", a clinker brick Tudor with a turret and crenelated porte-cochere, a cozy cottage with pronounced Tudor accents and Flemish bond in the brickwork, and a stunning, recently renovated Craftsman with a rare jerkinhead dormer. Our nature-lovers were thrilled to explore rare private gardens like 1721 Dyson Drive, the certified Georgia native plant garden and 1491 Emory Road, a 5.5-acre woodland garden with ponds, waterfalls, and meandering paths. Patrons loved the special access to Fernbank Forest, and were thrilled to discover the almost-hidden Peavine Trail that funs along the creek right underneath the neighborhood. We were so grateful to have experts from Georgia Native Plant Society and Georgia Audubon Society volunteering in our greenspace sites to guide and answer questions from tour-goers. We can't wait to see what our 2024 Tour will offer!
